This one day workshop gives children the chance to explore creative writing through a series of class based exercises.
We will look at creating characters, writing dialogue and scene setting before writing a short story prompted by the plans developed over the morning. Students will be asked to share their ideas and have fun!

About the tutor:
I have taught creative writing for 15 years across all age ranges, for UEA, The Garage, NUA, SAW, Norfolk Adult Education and Broadland District Council. I currently run a degree in English Literature for University Centre Peterborough. I am the managing director for Gatehouse Press, publishing the award winning Lighthouse Literary Journal and my own poetry and short fiction appears across a wide range of journals and anthologies.
I have full DBS clearance which will be available on the day.
