About the Tutor
I have been running my own business as a pastel portrait artist since 2014. I specialise in pet portraits, and have been commissioned to create over 100 pictures in that time.
Since January 2016 I have been running ‘workshops’ focussing on the use of pastels and the general rules of reproducing ‘what you see’ on to paper.
I have also attended a variety of events, where I offer demonstrations of my portrait technique; these include The Game & Country Fair, The Aylsham Show, East of England Alpaca Fiesta and I will be returning to the Hobart Gallery at Blickling Hall for a summer exhibition for the third time this year.
For further examples of my work please visit my website and facebook page.

This course with Michael Struppek is for anyone who has rudimentary German or taken Michael’s Introductory course and wants to improve.
“I prepare my own learning materials and try to individualise lessons as much as possible. Abilities, interests and jobs of students will always find their way into my lessons.
It is never only about grammar but also about the way a language works – and how that influences ways of thinking. German lessons should also deal with the culture of the country – it’s habits, history and idiosyncrasies.” – Michael Struppek
