This course is designed to follow on from the Improvers Garment Construction course or for people who have some experience of dressmaking skills and are confident with the use of a sewing machine. The course will work one or more garments in the medium range of difficulty in fabric of the course participants choice, woven or jersey fabric with an appropriate pattern. read more +
This course is designed to follow on from the Introduction to Sewing Machine course or for people who have some experience of using a sewing machine who wish to improve their garment making skills. The course will work on two simple garments, of the course participants choice, the first in a woven fabric and the second in a jersey fabric. read more +
This two day course will be full of writing prompts to get you writing, with mini lectures on Creative Writing skills such as editing, stylistics and more. read more +
The emphasis of this course is on constructing two simple garments of the participants choice. Ideally one made from a woven fabric and one from a stretch fabric. Starting with the woven fabric, the sessions will introduce students to patterns and fabric (it would be recommended that participants do not buy a new pattern or fabric until after the introductory session.) read more +
