Spanish Intermediate
With Eloisa Echevarne
The Spanish Intermediate course, 1, is advisable for students who have completed a beginners course in Spanish, or who have previous knowledge of the language at beginner level. Learners will make the most of the Spanish grammar, vocabulary and commmunication skills in Spanish studied in this term if built on a solid base. Nevertheless, at the beginning of the course, and throughout it if required, basic notions of Spanish would be revised if needed.
The methodology for this course has been designed to encourage students to communicate in Spanish from the first class, in an interactive and dynamic way. This will be achieved through course materials, audiovisual resources and group work in the classroom. The study routine will have the teacher working to empower students to be the best they can be in Spanish.
Together with the linguistic approach, Spanish Intermediate will enable learners to widen their knowlede of Spain and Spanish speaking countries’ culture, history and current affairs. This is key to understand the context within Spanish is spoken worldwide, and will be essential for students who wish to travel abroad and put their knowledge in context.
Literature and creative writing will be approached too, in order to practice grammar and vocabulary, and to give the students a richer experience of the language.

About the tutor
¡Hola!
My name is Eloísa and I am a native Spanish teacher living in Norwich. I received my QTS at Kingston University in London in 2005 and since then, I have been teaching at Secondary and Primary schools, as well as offering private tuition to children, young people and adults of all abilities. My professional lessons include the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), however, I believe that the most enjoyable competency is the oral one as verbal communication is what fulfils the learners’ desire. I love the rewarding aspect of the teaching experience and I can help you if you would like to start speaking Spanish, so why not to give it a try! Looking forward to meeting with you
